Good morning!
I hope you all had a great weekend.
For us, it was a weekend spent with family after the passing of Brian's grandma.
I've learned that moments like these are never easy...
No matter how you look at it.
But it helps bring back perspective and enables you to enjoy the
small things in life that bring joy.
Be it a simple flower in a garden, a cup of coffee in the early morning,
or holding a sleepy baby.
Take those moments and store them in your pocket.
It's the small things that can help get you through tough times.

Mother- Daughter Apron Set
I hope everyone is having a great week!

Believe it or not... Mother's Day is just a few short weeks away.
I will now always remember Mother's Day as the very beginning of Lindsay P Designs...
I wanted to make my mom an apron with my new sewing machine
but couldn't find the style pattern I was envisioning.
So I decided to just try it on my own and fell in love with the way it turned out.
Simple with feminine flair.
I then proceeded to make 3 more for my sisters and I!
I'll be offering a few fun Mother's Day specials coming up...
the first being the Mother-Daughter Apron Set.
 Customize it too!
In the comment box at checkout, specify if you would like a white or natural apron along with your desired French fabric.
Order before May 5th to receive in time.
Stay tuned for more Mother's Day treats!

Non-Profit Receiver
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

We have wrapped up giving donations to Strong Against Cancer
and are on to the next non profit.
With Memorial Day soon approaching I thought it would be great to give to an organization for our veterans.
April-June, 10% of the profits of all sales will go toward
"Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans--World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill."
My sister will be volunteering as a nurse and going on their upcoming trip in May and I am so excited to hear first hand about the experience.
What better time then around Memorial Day weekend to give to this organization.
Have a great Monday!

Vintage Baseball
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend.
In celebration for opening day for baseball season,
I thought I would introduce the latest card for all of the baseball lovers out there.
Our family grew up watching baseball, particularly the Mariners.
Of course, the 1995 playoffs being the most vivid baseball memories for
baseball fans around here...
getting to skip school to go to the playoff game,
decked out in navy and teal and my dad and sister even
landing a small quote in the Seattle Times...
Spring training in arizona...
waiting after the games to get autographs and snapping pictures of all the players as they drove on by...
This card is simple but there are so many great memories behind it!
Have a wonderful week!
