This little tea set means a whole lot to me...
It belonged to my great grandma..my Grandma Agnes...my mom's grandma.
I love all of the detail and the robin egg blue color against the gold...
so timeless
I decided that instead of displaying it prim and properly on a shelf
I should actually use it

ReplyDeleteYour special cup & saucer are truly beautiful. When I was young I used to visit an old aunt for afternoon tea and she would bring out her best china cups for herself and my mother. I was never allowed to drink tea until I was older, so I never got to taste tea from her special cups.
