wine country

We are so fortunate to be living in wine country. I think it's something
we often take for granted.
I remember way back when…when Brian was looking for a job while we were engaged...and there was a possibility we could be living in Sonoma County.
I imagined riding our bikes (even though I don't own one) down dirt roads to
wineries every weekend. Sipping on wine and enjoying the vineyards…I mean it couldn't get much better than that right?!

For the first 6 months of living here we definitely visited quite a few wineries. I eventually got a job working in the wine industry and boy did I learn a lot about wine. Since than its been fun going to wineries and actually being able to have a conversation with the guy/gal behind the counter. But it has lost its glory a bit...and like I said...I think we take it for granted

Yesterday when Brian came home for work there was 30 minutes left before one of the wineries by our house closed. We decided, "what the heck lets go wine tasting!" we came home being signed up for the wine club at landmark winery.
It was so fun and spontaneous. I think that these are the memories we will remember when  we think about our time living here !

hope everyone has a wonderful day!

  1. Hi Lindsay, I have always wanted to visit the wine country! I would love to go to the west coast as it seems so very different from the coast I'm used to here in Florida. It looks so gorgeous there. And the wine is just a bonus!
